More than 100 people including members, guests and visitors enjoyed the fun and friendly atmosphere of our 2024 Open Day.
Lots of people tried the game for the first time, supported by members of the Club. Our VIP guest Shirley Ludford, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire said “Fun and inspiring, for all ages and abilities”.
It was a Community event with local businesses Cotswold Brew Co www.cotswoldlakesbrew.co.uk and Tipple-Tree www.tipple-tree.co.uk providing an alternative to the Bowls and support from Bevirs Law, Swindon Sports Forum and South Marston Parish Council contributed to the success.
If you are intersted in trying the game of Bowls at a friendly and sociable Club please come and have a go on Friday evenings during the summer, from 6pm until dusk.
