Members of Supermarine Bowls Club, the Friendly Bowls Club invite you to attend our Open Day. We host periodic open days for prospective members or for those who simply want to give bowls a try!

Come along at anytime during the day and discover what our sport is all about. 

If you cannot make this date why not join us at our regular social evenings which take place every Friday from 6pm during May to September – just turn up.

Learn to play

Experienced coaches will be on hand to provide guidance and tips, making it easy for beginners to learn the basics or for seasoned players to refine their skills. Don’t worry if you don’t have any equipment – we’ll provide everything you need, but bringing flat shoes or trainers is essential please. Just roll up and join in the fun! Our target competition will also be available for those looking to test their skills and win a cash prize.

Watch & MEET

Experience the excitement of lawn bowls with our exhibition game – the Mr & Mrs Supermarine doubles tournament! Watch as skilled bowlers showcase their talent and compete for glory. It’s a thrilling game that can be played by all ages and men and women can compete on an equal footing.

Plus, you’ll have the chance to meet and chat with our VIP guests and esteemed members, who will be more than happy to share their experiences and insights into the sport.

Refreshments

Indulge in a delightful array of refreshments at our Open Day. From hot food and cakes, there’s something to satisfy every craving. Whether you prefer a steaming cup of tea or coffee or fancy something stronger, we’ve got you covered at our fully stocked bar. We proudly feature locally brewed ales from Cotswold Lakes Brewco, ensuring there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
